A little bit about me…
I had the idea to brand myself as Maddison Foley Photos in 2018, shortly after starting my first year in the photography program at Spokane Falls. Originally being from Olympia, I came to Spokane in 2016 to pursue graphic design, which ultimately led me to Photography. I got my AAS in photography from Spokane Falls Community College in June of 2020.
As a photographer I am focused on showing the world as I see it, while focusing on the individuality in us all. I use lifestyle imagery, natural lighting, and unconventional framing techniques to create images that represent the unique stories of individuals like you, and like me. I celebrate differences and photograph moments.
I am mainly drawn to documentary lifestyle and branding photography. I enjoy capturing the up-close, intimate moments in people’s lives and pursuits. I spend a lot of time focusing on small details in my own life, and this shows through in my photography as well.
I am extremely family oriented and spend as much time with them as possible, and there’s a lot of us! I’m the middle child with an older sister and younger brother, and have two younger step-sisters. I’ve always been very artistic (thanks to my grandma) and enjoy painting, resin work, interior design, drawing, collaging, and finding old furniture to re-do. When taking graphic design courses, editorial layout and design was my favorite part. I have since worked with my step-mom in helping her to design and create a website showcasing her recipes (she’s a fantastic cook). Lover of good memories and new people. Ranch enthusiast and cat mom to Tuna. Yearly Priest Lake visitor from Olympia currently residing in Spokane. I’ve always been very outspoken and expressive in the way I present myself and it shines through in my photography, and creative ways as well. It’s easy to make me laugh and I tend to have the same effect on others.
